David Johnson founded Macauley Johnson, LLC to provide experienced, professional financial management services to emerging and established companies requiring comprehensive Chief Financial Officer expertise on an interim, part-time or project basis.

David has twenty-five years of finance and accounting experience in a wide range of environments including start-up, private and public companies (including both corporate and operating roles), international as well as public accounting. 

As a former Chief Financial Officer of a publicly traded company, he has been responsible for various finance and administrative functions including CFO responsibilities during the Initial Public Offering process, FP&A, IT, HR, facilities, distribution, purchasing and environmental health and safety.  He has participated in raising in excess of $200 million in public and private equity including IPO, Committed Equity Financing Facility, Private Investment in Public Equity, venture debt and VC funding.
